Yes, I am Gram's husband of 40+ years! I thought I would start off the blog by letting you get to know Gram. I first met my wife while attending Jacksonville High School in Jacksonville, Texas. We were sweethearts all through high school and got married my first year in college. I should know her better than anyone.
Carol (Gram) and I have 6 grandchildren (5 girls and 1 boy) that are the best, cutest, sweetest grandchildren in the whole world. She spoils them like any good grandmother will do and they love her dearly. Carol is a loving grandmother who is never too busy for her grandchildren.
Carol worked in the public school system as a nurse and "truant officer" for several years but because of her health she had to get out of such a stressful setting. She started selling on eBay through an eBay store and then opened an online store called Grams Store.
Carol will not sell just anything; it must meet her standards. Her products are guaranteed and she makes sure her customers are happy with the merchandise. But what she really excels at is customer service and public realations. She is always ready to email or call her customers for more information when necessary and many times there is a rapport created between her and the customer. Carol is the kind of lady that is "easy to know" - even through email. She loves making her customers happy and sometimes (I think) goes to extremes to "get that package shipped". I cannot leave the house without going by the Post Office - even if I am headed the opposite direction. She prefers to ship the same day or maybe the next day.
Gram's Store has Spenco shoe insoles, travel pillows for adults and children, and Webkinz. The Spenco insoles are probably the best in the world and are made here in Waco. She can get a good price on them and let you enjoy the savings. The travel pillows are so unique that they are patented. The children's travel pillows are adorable. The Webkinz are the rage now. Youngsters enjoy caring for their animal online and adults are collecting them. The adults say they are collecting them but if they are like Carol they are taking care of the pet online and enjoying the games that are played to earn credits to care for the pet. Webkinz are selling so fast she has trouble keeping stock.
